The head of the Italian government gave an interview for Rai TV in which he stated that two sources of the coronavirus outbreak have been discovered in the country. One of them could be a hospital in the town of Codogno in Lombardy. The entire region was marked as a red zone. Employees of the hospital ignored proper security measures which caused the virus to spread. The town is now under quarantine with no entry or exit allowed. In total, 50,000 people remain confined to quarantined areas. Meanwhile, experts from the World Health Organisation and European Union are to visit Italy to help introduce efficient measures to fight the disease. In China, where the SARS-CoV-2 began spreading, 71 more people have died and 508 more have been confirmed to have caught the virus. Thus, the number infected has grown to 77 658.
