The President met at the National Security Bureau with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Minister of Health Łukasz Szumowski and Chief Sanitary Inspector Jarosław Pinkas. "We talked about the current situation in connection with the danger associated with the appearance of coronavirus in Poland. Unfortunately, there are more cases today," the president said on Monday evening. He added that it is very likely that there will be much more cases. The president announced that due to the coronavirus threat he would not organize large meetings in the election campaign. "I decided not to organize large meetings during the presidential campaign, because these are meetings that hundreds of people come to. I am extremely grateful for that, but it seems to me that the risk of coronavirus spreading is too great, and I don't want to expose the people who come to these meetings," the president stressed. The university of Warsaw as well as the universities in Wrocław and Poznań suspended all classes and lectures. The Polish football league also announced that matches will be taking places without any fans at the stadiums.
