The chief of the cabinet of president Duda's chancellery, Krzysztof Szczerski had this to say on the conversation between the two heads of states:

"President Andrzej Duda held a half-hour-long phone conversation with the US President Donald Trump. The conversation took place at the initiative of President Donald Trump and concerned three issues. First of all, the cooperation of Polish and US research institutes in the development of a vaccine and a drug for coronavirus. The American side declared openness to a cooperation with Polish experts and joint research. Secondly, the issue of modern, fast coronavirus tests, which Poland wants to obtain from the USA, the American side again was eager to such cooperation. Thirdly, President Duda informed President Donald Trump that Poland was sending a military and medical mission to Chicago, Illinois, to support the local health service. That mission is to furthermore enable Polish and American doctors for a joint practice in treating patients infected with COVID-19. These were three examples of very practical Polish-American cooperation today, in the era of a pandemic that affects Poland and the world".
