Several hundred people protested on Saturday in central Berlin against restrictions imposed by the authorities due to the ongoing pandemic. The seated held white roses referring to the White Rose movement, which was a resistance movement against the Nazis.

"The restrictions are going too far, and I believe I can make the right decisions by myself. I can be advised by others who have more experience with this virus, but I do not want to be forced to comply with these measures", stated a resident of Berlin.
