"This is a very convenient solution. It allows you to conduct a medical consultation and receive recommendations, such as during a traditional visit, and yet without leaving home and without having to contact a medical employee directly", deputy Minister of Health Janusz Cieszyński stressed. The ministry noted that thanks to “teleporada” the patient gets access to medical advice regardless of staying and the time of day, because medical staff is available 24 hours a day, including on Sundays and holidays. During the consultation, if necessary, the patient will receive an e-prescription and e-release, and in justified cases a recommendation to visit a medical facility or contact a sanitary-epidemiological station. “The teleporada” form is available at: patient.gov.pl/teleporada.
