Ostrowska reminded that since Monday, May 25th, in addition to childcare in kindergartens, caring classes will also be available for pupils in grades 1-3 of primary schools. She also pointed out that issues regarding the detailed manner of providing care as well as teaching classes for children who would be staying at school belong to the headmaster's duties. According to the Ministry of National Education, there are over 22,000 kindergartens, pre-school departments in primary schools and other forms of pre-school education in the whole country. 1.41 million children attend them. On May 6th - the first day of opening kindergartens and pre-school departments, over 1,600 facilities were reopened, usually in small towns.
