"Today, for the first time since the coronavirus epidemic began, considering the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country, the total number of deaths, and the total number of people cured from the virus, we have more people who have recovered from the infection than people who are infected. We’re planning on conducting tests for the presence of the coronavirus on 14,000 coal miners who work in those three mines. Despite the fact that there are currently 12 laboratories in the Silesian voivodeship, the samples for coronavirus tests will be sent to other laboratories in Poland. We conducted nearly 20,000 tests in the morning. Besides Silesia, there are currently no other coronavirus outbreaks in the country", stated Wojciech Andrusiewicz, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health.
