As part of a campaign tour of the country, President Andrzej Duda met today with the inhabitants of Stalowa Wola in Podkarpacie. He emphasized that the plan for the coming years is a plan of large strategic investments, such as the Central Communication Port or the excavation of the Vistula Spit. Prime Minister Morawiecki referred to the President's plan. "When I look at photos from Stalowa Wola, I see the same enthusiasm for this idea that I felt when the President told me about it for the first time", Morawiecki wrote on Facebook. The President argued in Stalowa Wola that he wanted Poland to draw its strength from a tradition based on Christianity and, at the same time, a tradition that "makes us think in a modern way". He mentioned the Central Communication Port, which - as he assessed - will contribute to strengthening Poland's position in European politics. He mentioned the excavation of the Vistula Spit as the second investment. Duda pointed out that this investment is questioned because it is in defiance of various interests, including foreign ones.
