President Duda and the Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak took part in the ceremony of taking the military oath by soldiers of the 3rd Podkarpacka Territorial Defense Brigade on Sunday. Duda emphasized the role of territorial soldiers in helping victims of floods and storms in Podkarpacie. "They did reliably what they said in the words of the soldiers' oath, they reliably did what they called: <Always ready, always close>," he said. "I was told by people affected by fate, affected by the disaster, whose homes and possessions were taken by the water, that they owe it to soldiers that now they can somehow manage what they have left after the floods. The soldiers tirelessly stood beside them, together with their neighbors, volunteer firefighters", said the President.
