"The Independence March Association is submitting today a complaint against President of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski. According to articles 256 and 157 of the Penal Code, the grants worth 3.6 million zlotys given to the NGO Warsaw Biennale, in theory a cultural association, were in fact funding anti-government activities and were used against the law. It was an enormous and hard to imagine amount of money. As claimed in our documents served at the city attorney office, the Warsaw Biennale is part of an international leftist and communist organization with close ties to the German Antifa organization. Such activities are against Polish law. In the United States, President Donald Trump calls such organizations terrorist organizations. It is scandalous that Rafał Trzaskowski is supporting and providing funding to them from the city of Warsaw taxpayer’s money", commented Tomasz Kalinowski, the deputy chairman of the Independence March Association.
