Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced during the Monday’s meeting with parliamentary representatives that on the upcoming meeting of the European Council, in coordination with the Visegrad Group, he will provide the Marshall Plan for Belarus.
Błaszczak on the First Program of Polish Radio said that ‘almost all parties spoke with a single voice concerning Belarus’ on Tuesday. ‘It is a very good signal. We agree that our future partially depends on our neighbours’ – said.
‘We agree that the independence of Belarus is the Polish affair. This is the long-standing conception of Marshal Józef Piłsudski before 100 years ago. The Ukrainian independence is a guarantee for Poland to be safe and the Belarusian independence is also this guarantee’ – emphasised the Minister of National Defence.
Błaszczak also added that the meeting of the European Council was planned within the next 10 days.
