Kuczmierowski confirmed earlier announcements according to which doses of Moderna vaccines will be delivered to Poland for the first time in the coming week. The European Medicines Agency (EMA) issued a positive opinion on the authorization of the company's vaccines on the EU market on Wednesday.

"The delivery of Moderna vaccines should reach us on Tuesday, probably around noon. We are still setting up the organizational delivery details with the manufacturer. This week it will be a delivery of 29,000 doses. In two weeks it will be about 40,000, so that at the end of January the number of doses will be amounted to about 70,000, " Kuczmierowski informed.

As he pointed out, Moderna plans to deliver approximately 400,000 doses in February and 360,000 doses in March.

"By the end of the first quarter, we expect around 840,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine," added the president of ARM.
