On Facebook, Morawiecki wrote that the National Vaccination Program against Covid-19 is the most important challenge currently facing by the Polish state.

"It is an issue beyond all political divisions, so today, on my initiative, following meeting with representatives of all parliamentary forces was held, devoted to the fight against Covid-19. I have always been and still stay open to dialogue with anyone who cares about the good of Poland. Solidarity and consent is our greatest weapon in this war," the Prime Minister reported.

Registration for vaccination for people 70 plus started on Friday, January 22. A week earlier, 80 plus seniors could enroll for vaccinations. Population vaccinations for both these age groups started on Monday. Pursuant to the agreement negotiated by the European Commission with vaccine suppliers, Poland is entitled to vaccinate 3.1 million Poles by the end of the first quarter.
