So far, 2,697,815 vaccinations against COVID-19 have been performed in Poland, and 925,682 people have received both doses, according to the government's vaccination report on Sunday. The daily number of vaccinations was 33,518.

"I do not know if you have noticed that the opposition has somewhat silenced the narrative that the vaccination system in Poland is badly organized. Maybe because it does not stick to the information that we are in terms of vaccination pace: 1st in the EU, 7th in the world, " Deputy Foreign Minister Szymon Szynkowski aka Sęk noted on Twitter.

Earlier, the opposition tried unsuccessfully to build a narrative that Poland was not coping with vaccination process. However, the statistics clearly show that these allegations were unfounded. The government has consistently explained that the initial slow number of vaccinations was due to problems with the supply of vaccines and the producers were to blame.
