"I would like to express my best wishes to all ladies on Women's Day and at the same time dedicate this Eurostat chart, which shows that in our country the percentage of women in managerial positions is one of the highest in Europe," wrote Morawiecki.

He added that he would like "Poland to be at the forefront of this ranking very soon". "This result is mainly due to the Polish women! You are wonderful, hardworking, extremely competent and you prove it every day!," stressed the Prime Minister.

The head of government added Eurostat data to the entry, which shows that the largest share of women in managerial positions in the third quarter of 2020 was recorded in Latvia (45%) and Poland (44%), followed by Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovenia and Sweden (42% each).
