At the beginning of March, the government spokesman announced that the prime minister would submit a request to the Constitutional Tribunal regarding a comprehensive settlement of the issue of the conflict of European law norms with the constitution and confirmation of the previous jurisprudence in this regard.

As he pointed out at the time, it is about the Court of Justice of the European Union exceeding its competences in stating the supremacy of European law over the Constitution of the Republic of Poland.

"Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki recently announced that he would submit an application to the Constitutional Tribunal regarding the superiority of Polish constitutional law over EU law. This complaint was submitted today to the Constitutional Tribunal, so this is the implementation of the announcement that we spoke about some time ago, this complaint has been filed today," Müller said at Monday's press briefing.
