pexels.com // Polina The Ministry of Health reported the latest data on the coronavirus epidemic. Last day, 9 902 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected, 64 people died. The number of infections is lower than recently, but this has to do with the Easter season, in which fewer tests are performed.
Most infections were detected in the Silesian and Wielkopolska voivodeships. In other provinces, the daily number of infections did not exceed 1,000.
There are 32,656 patients with COVID-19 in hospitals, including 3,269 under a ventilator, the Ministry of Health said. More than 11,000 covid beds and 944 respirators are available, according to Ministry data.
The Health Ministry reported that 43,930 beds for COVID-19 patients are being prepared in the country and 32,656 are occupied. By contrast, of the 4,213 ventilators prepared, 3,269 are occupied.
