"Our pressure on the European Commission and vaccine manufacturers makes sense. I will talk about it in a moment with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen," the head of government wrote on Facebook.

Morawiecki also said that the government decided to donate additional money to create universal vaccination points.

"We want to vaccinate as many willing Poles as possible in the shortest possible time," he assured.

He also pointed out that vaccination was the most effective method of fighting the coronavirus, as shown by examples from other countries, such as Great Britain, which has already vaccinated over 30 million citizens and which significantly reduces the number of deaths and infections.
