During Tuesday's press conference, Michał Dworczyk, the government plenipotentiary for the National Vaccination Program, announced that today the level of registered for vaccination against COVID-19 will reach 50 percent of adults in Poland.

"Every day, about 200,000 people sign up. This dynamic continues, although we see some downward trends. All this allows us to say that the stage when the biggest challenge is obtaining vaccines is ending. Now the biggest challenge will be to convince Poles to want to vaccinate," said Dworczyk.

He added that Pfizer's vaccine shipments will double since May 31.
