"This project is being implemented and even if there are various forms of formalistic challenges, I am absolutely optimistic and I am convinced that this project, in its basic framework, will be completed within the planned deadline," said Marcin Przydacz.

The deputy head of the ministry of diplomacy positively commented on the possibility of the European Commission getting involved.

"If the European Commission is ready to engage in supporting this important project not only for Poland, but for the entire region of Central and Eastern Europe, if the EC wants to support it, and this is how I understand it, then of course the Polish government will not block this activity in any way, but at this stage it seems to me that these are insignificant things about documentation and the Danish side will be able to easily handle them," Przydacz said.
