The new Sinfonia Varsovia Centrum will become the orchestra’s new home and will be found on the eastern bank of Warsaw.
Designed by Atelier Thomas Pucher of Austria, the concern hall will be super modern, with an interior designed specifically to create optimal acoustic conditions. The designer intends to create the acoustics of a classic concert hall in a ring-shaped stadium.
The project is being supported by the city as part of the Integrated Programme for the Revival of the Capital City of Warsaw, and will no doubt be a welcome addition to the city’s landscape for culture seekers and music lovers.
But, will lovers of traditional architecture be pleased with an ultra-modern stadium being built alongside five other historical buildings from the former Veterinary Institute?
