LUG, the leading manufacturer in the Polish lighting market, will open its first production line abroad. A new factory in Argentina has been built as a result of a deal made with the regional government of Misiones. The company estimates that the cities in the region will replace around 50 000 street lights in the upcoming years, creating a 70% saving in energy costs. The company’s new production line will employ 50 people and is considered to be the first step in LUG’s expansion plans in Latin America.
