During his speech, the president pointed out that Lututów received city rights for the first time in 1405 or 1406. As Andrzej Duda emphasized by the decision of the tsarist authorities, in 1870 it lost them due to the attitude of the inhabitants of Lututów. The inhabitants of this land were involved in the January Uprising (Powstanie Styczniowe). The president thanked the city's residents for cultivating all patriotic traditions. - Thank you for remembering the January insurgents, heroes of this land, heroes of that battle. But thank you also for the memory of those who gave their lives for Poland, murdered in Katyn - the president said.
