Turkish Gulermak and Mosty Łodz will build the 12,5 km long northern stretch of the Krakow's ring road by 2023.
Poland's second largest city Krakow will finally have a completed ring road. A contract worth 1,42 billion zloty, that's about 400 million dollars, was signed today with the turkish company Gulermak and Polish mosty Łodz. The two companies will together build the 12,5 km long northern stretch of the bypass which will include three tunnels with a total length of 1,6 kilometers. The expressway will shorten travel times to Warsaw, Wroclaw and Katowice. 30,000 drivers a day are expected to use the new stretch once it is finished in 2023.
