With the cooperation of three memory institutions of Lithuania and Poland – the National Museum – Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, the National Ossolinski Foundation Ossolineum and the Wawel Royal Castle – State Art Collections, an exhibition called Lithuania, my Homeland... Adam Mickiewicz and his poem Pan Tadeusz will be held in Vilnius at the end of 2018.

Mirosław Bałka at White Cube, London - Random Access Memory

Miroslaw Balka’s work explores memory in its myriad forms, and he often refers to the human body to provide a commentary on political ideas. This exhibition features a major new installation comprising of two huge, freestanding heated metal walls that measure approximately 11x4.5m and 6.5x3.5m respectively. The structures stretch across White Cube’s cavernous upper and lower galleries, dividing them to around a third of their normal size.

EXHIBITION: POLONIA GOES TO WAR presents the liberation activities of Polonia organizations and the fate of the soldiers of the Polish Army. Original objects from the collection of the Polish Museum in America, as well as footage from a hundred years ago, will bring this chapter of the activities of Poles in America to the Independence of Poland.
